Collection of ten photographs by Leslie Krims from his "The Incredible Case Of The Stack O'Wheat Murders" series. Krims taught photography at Rochester Institute of Technology from 1967-1969. Leslie Krims photographs consists of 10 images from his series, "The Incredible Case Of The Stack O'Wheat Murders." Photos portray a staged crime scene of a nude woman, each with a stack of pancakes visible in the image. Black and white photos are matted and signed by Krims.

It is unclear when the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) first admitted minority students. However, it appears as though the first African American students entered the Rochester Athenaeum and Mechanics Institute (renamed RIT in 1944) during the early 1900s. For instance, in 1906 Fredericka Sprague, the granddaughter of Frederick Douglass, took classes at the Institute. Born in 1943, Leslie Krims is a photographer and printmaker. He earned a BFA from Cooper Union and his MFA from the Pratt Institute. Krims has taught at Pratt (1966-1967), RIT (1967-1969), and is currently teaching photography at Buffalo State, State University of New York.
